The only tool you could use without risk of being banned is one that just reads pixels on the screen. Even then you could take video of it and send it to GGG and might still be able to get a ban that way.

Do you know is someone is banned using maphack only?
It happens for me when zooming out or lighting up maps that are normally dark which indicates it's due to rendering more objects that are normally concealed.

For zoom hack nop.
For full bright yes.
that being said, there are some less resource hungry ways of making full-bright hack but those ways don't work in lab and are not THAT bright.....but if cpu-usage is a problem i would suggest use those methods while not in Lab.

I include a light related function in my zoom script for defogging but even without it zooming out increases cpu usage.
Can you try using a character that is low life and getting fullbright to work with that? For me some areas (indoor/caves) fullbright doesnt work, toggling option or adjusting values does not help it. Other characters that are not lowlife in those same areas it does work.
I've been playing PoE since 2013
always with MH+ZH+FB; look, I mean it, ALWAYS, I never got banned, not even once
I used to bot via ExileBuddy and some other bot which controlled my mouse and I couldn't do anything, and still came out clean
so guys, that's no worries, just don't trick the packets

Just tested and preset 3 was doing this. Presets 1 and 2 were staying light on low life. I changed the preset to a lower expanse value for preset 3 on this script.
