PoEHUD - Overlay for Path of Exile (Updated for 3.0)

ya iv been using programs and bots and im almost sure this was there update couple days ago to detect the code in memory...i have not use the hud since 24 hours and when i logged in i seen the warning as well but i was using flask addon i personal think its the addons that are flagging us as they are automating.. really sucks becasue i love the hud really nice quality of life helper for me...anyhow im going to make new account with new email and new everthing with new ip and test it out see if its banning me with out addons ill keep you updated...that why i believe others have not got the warning is becuase of the addons

lol on side note ccc probly went crazy when they seen how many were using it thats why they didnt want to ban they lose there player base hahahah

be aware about HW ID and few other things are collected if you wanna go REALLY "new"

yes i use program to even change my MAC address but ya the more i think about it i think its the hud not just addons but i dont think it will be to hard to get around like he said on reditt the botter didnt get a warning it was ban right off bat like normal but the other tools well be hit in couple of days so ya well have wait and see

If you don't mind when you get the chance, to let us know if you are using poehud after the warnings went out? I'm curious to know if you've seen another warning since the 1st, or if you do get banned. I haven't played since I got my warning. I'm gonna stop using it for now, this really sucks.


Better safe than sorry. Its like vaaling your only headhunter when u worked so long to get it. You can get another eventually, but at what cost?

I certainly did not receive any notice in 2015 (I did not play PoE).
Since I use PoeHUD I have always used the "trick".
As you said i'm probably under investigation but I think I will continue to use it.

This is exactly the kind of message i got back in 2015 , but back then poe hud had map hack zoom hack etc . I started using poe hud without injection hack and i still got banned about 4-5 months later . I always tough it was because of me spaming instance for corrupted zone etc .

Maybe just strip all stuff from poehud except the very basic like monsters on the minimap and preloads/alerts? Use on fresh account and see if it gets banned with just those few things?

This is all I have enabled and i still got the warning just FYI.

For clarity, botters did not get this warning. They were banned outright as usual.

Today we widened the net of cheating tools we ban for and are giving this one-off warning for map hacks and tools that show you information that isn?t normally visible. People who ignore it will be banned in a few days.

There won?t be any more warnings, even if you didnt get this message on your own account.

No, PoeHud does not have map hack, at least not in usual known iteration, that it shows whole map without exploring it. It does show enemies and stuff like strongboxes on map if you're fairly close to them. Never from very far away.

Yeah they definitely started banning anyone who was spamming instances around that time. That one of the few guaranteed ways I know of to be banned.

Yep. My account is far from anything that would trigger alerts for abusive game play. Only have a lower level character and was listening to music and grinding my way through acts. Haven't sold anything. Got the message today also. I wouldn't play Diablo without TurboHud and I most likely won't play PoE without PoEHud either. Shame to see them go this route but that's their choice. Time to find an alternative game.
