good, good) and some more question: there're mobs with effect "Spreads Tar on death"- it's some kind of black ground effect that slows you. And it's very laggy especially with other heavy effects... and if you're not alone... - you can sit down and relax. If this can be impoved with still visible, but not laggy... will be awesome

I've been trying to figure out how to remove the shattering effect I thought it was Metadata\Particles\shatter but apparently it isnt.~
edit : it's not Metadata\Particles\iceshatter1 2 3 or 4 either
edit2 : it's not Metadata\Particles\conditions\shatter_bits.pet either

Any way to replace the the portal effect to be the old closed/open beta portal effect? I found the folders where the textures are located but actually getting the old textures might be a bigger issue.

If i dont want to open this codes/open client???
I read all stuff in OP post, but Its unreal to understand.
Should I export/import something to content.ggpk?
I'm ****ing insane of this shit.
You must write all steps for idiots like me.
I'm done.
After check ingame I saw that my fps increased.
But what files I change and how?
Smoother changes content.ggpk in real time?

I did write all steps to change a skill effect.
Whatever you check, the effects will be disabled. Unchecked one are set to default game values.
If you want to see what changes are made, there is an info file with the paths for almost any changes. Follow the path and check/uncheck boxes, it's refreshing with every state of checkboxes.
You can't change anything in real time...if the game is opened, the tool is in readonly mode. Also it's visible on the title: PoeSmoother (readonly mode).
To change your own skill/effect...follow the tutorial step by step...i think is pretty easy to understand it..or use custom folders.
How to use custom folders:
- First step is to extract your "directory skill/effect/audio" into the new created custom*/restoreDefault...and here is the backup folder for all the files we want to change (do not touch these files..keep them safe).
Then copy what's inside the *restoreDefault folder (directories: Metadata or Audio) and put them into the *enableCustom folder...to work with them.
It should look something like this:
1 - config / customSkills / restoreDefault / Metadata / Particles / dancing_daggers / ...files. (we don't modify these files)!
2 - config / customSkills / enableCustom / Metadata / Particles / dancing_daggers / ...files. (we work on these files).
I have updated the first post and added how to use custom folders.
