Auto-pull Tempest data every hour
It would be great if there was a script or program that could pull client/server data to auto-update all of the areas that are affected by Tempest, and what the Tempests are.
It would make farming a joke. Oh "Guaranteed Unique" in Coves map? Good thing I have 3 Coves maps...time to farm. Oh, +440IIR and 70IIQ on Courtyard map? Thanks, game.

No, I'm wondering if it's possible to pull information from the client?
Tempest Watch exists, but it's shit, and unreliable.

Someone posted that Tempest Watch is reporting some amazing Tempests in high-end maps. In-game users are denying the Tempests are there. In other words, Tempest Watch sucks. A tool that pulls Tempest Data from the server would be amazing.
Is this possible to make?

Tempest Watch has not worked well because competitive players have no incentive to share their knowledge with the rest of the community.

I was thinking of implementing something like this to the HUD, something that would read the tempest data in the map and send it to a global database so that we can have accurate info that would be harder to spoof. Probably set it up so there's a web interface people can look at and all hud users send in tempest data when they enter maps.
Not sure whether the community would be okay with this though so I'll probably make it optional. And I need to make sure people don't compile their own versions that report gibberish so idk about that.

It's mostly so that we have a infrastructure for this kind of stuff in the future.

It is impossible to pull data about tempest mods in maps.
It is possible to do it for normal areas (change your system clock to +1h, and on the travelling map you will see what tempests will be in an hour in normal zones).

You would be wrong, what I'm proposing is no to magically aquire the data from the ether, we allready get tempest data from the maps we're in as a mapmod in poehud I was just thinking that in the event of a league with simillar dynamics I could use the data of the people that use the HUD to make a reliable poetempest.com version instead of it being gamed by players since there would be no human input and the hud would send the mods straight to the server (probably encoded to avoid ****ery).
