The bot will have a GUI configuration soon and should solve a lot of peoples issues not understanding this. I'm eventually going to put drown down menus for the skills that will let you just select which skills you have/want on which button. This should help a LOT. After we get a release with the basic GUI working, I will begin to work on that.

Where on the site will this be posted? super anxious to really see what this bot can do with full skill usage. If it works half as good as I think it will, I will for sure donate to this!

Just above Anthrax (which is part of the project) gave you a part of the answer, it'll be integrated into the bot.
I planned to post a sample of the config file but i had too many things to do tonight, couldn't do it.
We're a bit late on posting the new version (the new offsets are already implemented, no worries) but we're releasing our alpha v0.5 in same time, we still need to debug a bit.

As Anthrax said, a GUI is coming to get rid of all the difficulies you can have while you setup the bot.

Apologies for not releasing tonight but sometimes it's better to delay than publishing a retardedly bugged function screwing up all the good work around it ^_^

The game client craches when I try to start it. The moment I press space to activate it, the game crashes. Not sure if I did something wrong. Works fine when I pause the bot, but when I press space in map or out the client.exe crashes.

Make sure your Config.ini settings are 100% correct. I had the same issue but I had one setting incorrect.

which config did you make a mistake on? I pretty much just used the default settings. Just check the config file like 10 times, and there is nothing I see that is wrong but just won't work. Anyone can copy/paste their config so I can see what I did wrong?

Edit: Just tried a fresh file and kept everything in config except for the potion timers exactly the same. The bot auto login, but when the game is loading the client.exe crashes. So unless the default config.ini has an error in it, I don't see how I could have made a mistake. So this is my ss of my current config.ini anyone see a problem? (and yes my game was in 800x600)

You can't use just the default settings, you have to change the following to match your character:

character_to_use = 1 ; Define here which character you want to use in the character selection screen (default : 0, top character).
last_act_unlocked = 3 ; Last act unlocked
last_difficulty_unlocked = 2 ; Last difficulty unlocked (1 = normal, 2 = cruel, 3 = merciless)

zone_to_clean_act = 2 ; Important!! you have to give the act which the zone belongs
zone_to_clean_difficulty = 1 ; Set the difficulty desired (1 = normal, 2 = cruel, 3 = merciless)

All of those need to be correct.

The error I was making was the last_act_unlocked variable, I was putting 1 because my characters last act in the furthest difficulty it is in is act one... if you're in an act that you have all 3 unlocked, just put 3. It fixed mine.

I've unlocked act 3 but only have normal. So the settings should be what I showed above. I think the only issue that might cause this is the skills.ini file, the max distance is quiet confusing because I have no idea the actual range of my attacks. And so I have to set every skill that is on my character?

Do you have the way point for the place you're wanting to use the bot? By the way, I haven't touched any skills settings and my bot uses the skills it has.

yup, tried the_forest and crossroad. have both waypoint, crashes when game loading, and If i open the bot while ingame, it crashes the moment I enter from wp.

yea, same thing it was doing to me.... i'll have to talk to alkpone, but in the meantime, try tweaking all of your config.ini settings... that's the only thing that makes my bot crash.... if you've got visual studio or some debugging software installed, debugging info would be a great help.

One other thing, make sure you're in 800x600 mode, others claim other resolutions work, but they can't work that well because the way points are all "coded" for 800x600

Ok i'll see what I can try, and yes i'm in 800x600. I don't think there is other issues unless for some reason this bot doesn't work on windows 7.

Anyone having the same issue? and how do i turn off auto login? Do you think that is causing this issue?

The bot should creates new instance every restart.

How can I make the bot pick rare and legendary items?

edit:the bot is not select any char from the select character menu.(Tried 0,1,2 position)

Yeah sounds exciting. Just means until I get some solid answers I will have to wait till the GUI is released to use this bot to it's full potential. As it is I can start it but have to watch it closely cause with just auto attacks, if I get swarmed by a HUGE number of mobs I just die after a little while. This is why skills are so vital to me.

Will get 0.5 but can't wait for the GUI update. Thanks.

Also if you get a chance to answer my question further before the GUI that would help me a lot.

what config.ini settings did you guys use?

If i unlocked act3 but only got 1 wp in it I still put 3 in act unlocked right? Cause i tried tweaking the config.ini files and nothing seems to work. keeps crashing client.exe when loadong zone. So anyone who got it to work who had the same issue, help would be much needed.
