Preload the Merc (and maybe even its gear?)

Would also like to know and am kinda sad it is not mapped in exileapi yet :/ If it even can be. It will probably be dynamic content since reading the inventory right after map load would be just too easy... But to know if clicking the merc (to hire them for their skill / for their inventory) is even worth it to not lose the reknown streak, would be a nice gimmick.

Inventory is not available until you have opened up the merc. Once you've opened it up, it should be available for viewing but it will already impact your renown.

Ah thank you. And I assume loading into the map and immediately see a) what merc has spawned (Fallen Reverend, Cruel Mistress etc.) and on top of that b) what skills they use, will not work either right (this will most likely not work since skills like the inventory will be generated on "merc open")?

c) If you can't see mercs after entering the map, I am wondering what the difference to Einhar beasts are, for which GGG had to implement some form of "preload"-hallucinations while Mercs (if not visible on map start) must be dynamic content. Might be wrong though, but if all this applies, I am wondering about GGGs design choices.

Would a general preload of "Which merc is in this zone" be possible? I'm playing SSF HC Ruthless and a lot of power can be attained by finding the right merc (either for farming the right 1 to hire, or for gear upgrades of your class etc, (rares and uniques)).

Check the preloads. Preloads are the only way to see most data without them being within your network bubble. You can add custom preloads to your personal preloads config.

Hmm is there like a tutorial on that or something. If I push f12 -> Preloads plugin, I do see something called "Show all preloads" but im not sure how I would navigate that tree of info and/or what to do after I found something relevant?

Edit: I do see in /config, a personal preload alert. I've tried adding things like
Metadata/Monsters/Mercenaries/; Mercenaries; ffFFA500
Metadata/Monsters/Mercenaries/MercenaryDuelist/StrDexMercenary; Test; ffD2B48C

and other types of testing lines, but cant seem to get a preload.
