I don't get this in pratical.

    Here's what I do:

    - Open trade.
    - Put gem inside armor
BING gem gets socket in armor and I loose it.

    - Open trade.
    - Put gem in trade.
    - Put gem from trade in item.
    - Nothing happens...
    - Close trade: BING gem gets inside armor and I loose it.

    ....

    HelP?

    *EDIT*:

    Even tried as you said:

    - Trade window.
    - Drag gem to item.
    - Drag gem to trade.

    (WHAT NOW?? ;P)

    - Nothing happens.

Do you have to TRADE the gem to make it work?

I don't get the gem inserted in the armor when I try socketing it whith trade window open.

    I'm using a gem sized 1 gem into a gemsized 2 armor.

Normal socketing works. Though I loose the gem

    It worked like a charm.

Here's something to add in the guide:

While the craft time is in progress quickly add the gem to the trade, and accept the trade.

This way your gem will go in the socket and to your friend aswell!

    Thanks Mate
