    you know that vsync makes your video cards FPS so that it doesn't go faster then the refresh rate of the screen ......i doubt this would increase it if anything it would decrease it

    how the hell will turning on vsync increase your framerate by 40

    VSync will not increase your FPS (or shouldnt) All it does it cap your FPS to the refresh rate of your monitor/LCD/TFT display, this prevents tearing on grpahics on screen.

    And seeing as the human eye cant see a difference after 25-30 FPS there no point in running higher FPS.

    Winner! Vsync is bad IMO because it caps FPS at 60 and with it off I never get screen tear anyways.

    wtf... vsync on will REDUCE your fps not improve it. lmfao
