i had about 40 minutes in train.. lets see what i made out of it
Enjoy :wave: some easy Pseudocode for easier understanding how to implement is coming later.
Basicly my main idea is that you make slots for every type of spell! Some for DD, some for Dots ect and they are handled by spelltype! (think of botpoc configuration window) This would save you the hassle with SpellIDs and grouping them but would make it a little harder to understand and use for a new Zeabot user!
At the same time Zeabot would become really insanely powerfull! Playing even better that a human ever could! But do we want that ?
I think the problem with current implementation is that you are very limited.. thinks like Instant emergency heals are most likely not to be used to full effect! Think about it

Ok.. let me explain what i mean by playing better then a human player... lets take an example:
you stand with your group in a scenario, 2 stealher attack .. one attacks you, second attacks a groupmember in the same moment..
What will Zeabot do now (Assuming you do the normal Hot/Heal Setup)
first global cooldown: You get yourself a hot
second global cooldown: you start casting a slow heal
third global cooldown: you die
4th global cooldown: your teammember dies
ok .. now lets see what a good player would do
first global cooldown: reaction time
second global cooldown: give yourself an instant
third global cooldown: heal yourself
4th global cooldown: see yoru teammember dying
what would a Zeabot with a Priority setup do ? Well most likely:
first global Cooldown: Instant on yourself
Second Global cooldown: Instant on teammate if he gets really low
third global cooldown (you drop to 30% again) -AE knockdown
4th global cooldown you heal with a groupheal and save you both
Thats just theorycrafting but it should show you that zeabot cant use heals, PBAE knockdowns, Groupheals and so on efficiently
Implementing such a system is alot of work and i would suport Phale as good as i can but i cant do it alone i think .. i never did anything in lua!

I think you're onto the right idea of some serious automation. I just don't know if my computer could handle Warhammer and all of the calculations lol. Either way, you've given me some great ideas to work with, even if I don't implement it exactly as you suggest. Thanks again. =D

I made them with Mindjet Manager 8. Great tool for planning stuff! If you get the program i can send you my maps so you can change/copy/paste any part you want.
Well basicly its not that much calculations.. actually its almost no calculation at all its simple conditional stuff and most stuff can be done really efficient!
for example if your target is hostile you already took out 50% of the possible skills in 1 simple if condition!
if you do these smartly, you will not have to check many spells at all each cycle.
want me to do some Pseudocode for your inspiration? ! Easy way to show you what i mean

It's really annoying how this bot only attacks mobs that stand far off once and then waits for them to get in to melee range, atleast as far as XP purposes goes, scavenging\looting\butchering is diffrent (obviously). Though I must say, this works wonderfully with a vaul AM! :P Just hate having to look for a spot exclusively filled with melee mobs

I set mine to heal myself at 50% and it heals me but will just stop all together. It will not go back to attack mobs or even heal myself after it runs though the heals one and gets me back to full health.
Thanks. I've encountered this as well, it's fixed now. The problem was in relation partialy to the targetting issue we experienced before, which is also fixed.
