Hey guys , I've started playing Warhammer Online yesterday , and I'm new of course.I created an Elf "White Lion" class character , I start to like this game because you have that white lion who assists you in battle and there's lots of stuff to do!
Got 2 questions.

1.Can you get another pet or upgrade your lion ? (so it can become more stronger!)
2.Can you rename the pet / lion?
3.What class do you recommend me to play? What's the most entertaining one

I have a 40/41 White Lion on Dragonback.

1)Your lion has an upgrade it its armor visuals. Lion gets bigger and more armored. It still dies in 2 seconds in T4 though.
2)Yes, use the /petname command.
3)Roll something else. Take it from me and roll something else. Forget the White Lion.

He just means the class needs a little love. It have a few things not working ATM and needs the balance wand wiggled. I have one at T1 and I have having fun. I hear they are one of the most broken classes (with Archmage leading the pack). All in all, play what you like and have fun. My main is a Warrior Priest (some would same the most over powered in game) and I have a blast.. I have played every class in T1/T2. So Play what you like. Make sure to get a med/med active server and that will ensure your fun.

ive heard stories about white lions bugged out to the MAXX...i play destruction and warrior priests are a PAIN in the ass to kill.

Play around with some classes you are interested in for awhile...or just play what you think looks cool/ is fun !

It's pretty easy leveling up to ~ 20, then from there I find its a lot of RVR.

Fun game though, but I find I get to wrapped in doing the bot thing.

Get use to the mechanic of the class. I enjoy the way it plays! I can't wait for AOE heals....

Whats so great about Warhammer? I've heard so many mixed reviews. Some say game mechanics aren't good while others say the PvP is amazing

From my own understanding I do not believe your War Lion changes or can be changed. I didn't find any information on the net about this. However, if you consider the storyline it is pretty clear. You (White Lion) find a War Lion cub and raise it.

I have tried 4 or 5 classes, though all under lv15 (lol).
Here's my opinion.

Ironbreaker
Tough sh~t. Duh, it's a tank class. You do low damage but you have high armor. You slam your enemy down when you block, making them look silly on their arse.

Engineer
Now that's fun. Build a turret/flamer/bombardier and shoot away. You have a frag grenade that does aoe dot damage (area of effect and damage over time) though it's not a big damage, it's fun to see lots of destro gets nuked. Can't melee well though and low armor.

Rune Priest
Fun and always needed. Very weak when you have no AP (duh). You have heal, heal over time (hot) and shield. Don't expect to do lots of dmg.

Slayer
Now here's the slaya. Tons and tons of ridiculous damage, but weak as a puppy. Grab a healer and you'll be slayin away.

Warrior Priest
Nice class that can tank well and heal. Not high damage but amazing damage skills that heal yourself and/or nearby allies.

Sorcerer (Destro)
Powerful bolt (but long casting) and pbaoe (point blank area of effect).
