so on the realm i play on, i get basically instant rvr queues, at least in the 11 and under bracket, should i just rvr to 12, and keep moving along the areas and buying renown gear, or what owuld be the best idea?

The renown gear is crap compared to PQ gear, but I RvR'd most of the way to 12, it's the easiest XP/RP gain at that level.

To the OP, I think this guy hit it right on. I play a RP and I group with another RP and 2 BW's. We are always top fro dps/heals as well as XP/RP. Not saying you cant do well with other classes, but this set up makes it easy mode. 110k plus healing at lvl 20 is nuts, but 160k dmg is even more nuts.

Indeed but with out a Guild or Friends you could never do that solo.

I stay in the Top 3 solo for XP gain which to me is more important but I've never come close to that number, maybe 40k damage.
