Gathering Exploit

This only works when lions arch overflow is active.

1. Load up a lot of steel gathering sickles.
2. Go to Lions Arch and work your way through the Troll's End grand chest run. (search utube for guidance.)
3. near the end you will come to a platform with various gatherable plants.
4. STOP, do not carry onto the Grand Chest.
5. Gather the plants.
6. F12 to character select.
7. Select same character.
8. You will probably end up in a different overflow instance. Gather plants.
9. Goto 6

Once the overflow instances have been exploited simply leave your character there and repeat the next day.

The game is made this way. You can also do the jumping puzzles and loot the chests multiple times in one day as you can do the JP on the overflow and main servers.

Great tip for those who don't know about this though.

If this is not an exploit could someone please explain to me what the criteria is for a "feature" to be considered an exploit?

i assumed that an exploit is a game feature which was not intended to be used in such manner by the game designers and allows a a player an unintended advantage. Am I wrong?

Just checked and the Grand Chest CANNOT be opened multiple times per day in different overflows.
