This is all very wrong and misinformation on different levels.

Anyways, I will correct it quickly.

Bay Leaves - 28 Karma Per 25 in bulk, for 2500 you need 7k karma.

Thyme Leave - 21 Karma Per 25 in bulk, for 2500 you need 5.25k karma.

For 12,250 karma you will get 2.5g out of this, this also works for piles of paprika fyi, but this way is cheaper karma wise, Paprika piles are 14k karma even.

It was also never in bulk of 100 when i was looking into it a about 3 or 4 days ago, has always been by the 25's...could be wrong before though i suppose.

Once you are 80, have little else to do other then karma farm this i suppose could be viable if you have nothing else to spend your karma on, but atm it's a pretty poor conversion at 4.9k karma/gold.

While this isn't an "out-of-this-world" technique, I think the simple fact of bridging karma into gold is useful knowledge. This isn't on the same level as some of the already-patched methods, but if you're sitting on 50k+ karma that is essentially worthless (I mean c'mon, any of the gear you can buy with karma isn't really that amazing, and is now overpriced) you're probably better off converting it to gold, even at a lower rate, since gold is still extremely useful.

Eh, I can't imagine they would. It's not like you can pick up 4k karma without a little grinding. I played WvW all day and made maybe ~15k, that's over like 8+ hours, so if a couple gold for 8 hours work is considered an "exploit" then there's something seriously wrong.
