It works on everything that has a static spawn point since it will be there in any world you get out into.

I did this for copper for 400 ore then i moved on to iron / silver ore one which quit spawning. Went back to check if copper quit spawning and it did. Guess it only works during peak overflow time?

Still working for me. Only a couple overflow servers up so it's hit or miss. Try checking a non overflow server, then go into an overflow to see if new nodes spawn. That is what I have been doing and it is spawning new nodes.
