Scammer - Just a friendly warning

I looked for a scammer/trade dispute forum section and didn't find one, so if this is in the wrong place, please move it mods.

Hey everyone, be warned. If anyone out there tries to sell an account to you and gives you the email "[email protected]" stay away.

I bought a GW2 account from him for a Forge steam code and everything went smoothly at first. I got the account name, login, character name, purchase number, serial and so on and then changed the password.

The next day the password was reset and I thought it may have been an error since GW2 was going through some major updates so I contacted support, got the password reset, changed the email, had them remove all approved networks and even added an authenticator.

On Saturday, I got an email sent to my new email saying that the GW2 account email was changed and I contacted support to hopefully try to recover the account. We'll see if it's successful. Buyer be warned if you try to trade with/buy from him. I found another forum where he ripped someone off for $280 it seems, but I didn't care to read into it more, just that his email was there. If you search [email protected] on google you can find it.

Also it appears that the original thread where he posted the account is gone, I can't find it in my history or by searching my name in the forum section.

I'll keep this updated if I can recover the account or not. Some bullshit they don't even ask you to approve of the email change.
