Yeah I thought the same thing. I almost want to say "it's still in alpha", but honestly, games don't seem to change that much from alpha to release. Well, graphical / gameplay wise anyway.

The combat looks like just as much garbage as the actual elder scrolls games. They don't know shit about gameplay. They make detailed worlds, but the gameplay is garbage.

Neverwinter is a lot of fun. Wildstar looks very promising as well.
