Yeah i personally think they are missing something with this game. But it will have a lot of players at the beginning because of the elder scroll things, but after a moment, i don't think player stay in the game.

The craft is a joke (and is useless), the combat system is a joke, the skills are a joke, the leveling is a joke, the loot system is a joke, the pvp (i did not try because i hate pvp)...
I will not buy this game, maybe i will play if there is a private server but i will not spend a coin in this game.

Sometimes I wonder how stupid game designers are. They NEVER learn. A MMO will NEVER be successfull unless it has good, responsive and fluid combat/movement/mechanics.
This is almost worse than SWTOR.

You don't know facts and you're also offtopic, but even if i quit wow 3 months ago, most of my friends and ppls i know that i played with since tbc are still there and still playing, as blizzard said over 60% of their population is in asia. dont just throw lies just because you don't like the game, it's toxic.
OT: ESO is garbage, not even close to skyrim, im pretty sure if they added a mod for skyrim to play it online it would have been so much better, eso has almost no endgame, pvp is going to be shit because of the bad combat system, i wouldn't pay 60$ and a monthly fee, maby if the game had gw2 busines system and a better combat system i would buy it.

Your friends from TBC probably spent their time role-playing and trolling in trade chat during TBC and Wrath. I seriously doubt anyone who enjoyed the old content would be eating up the garbage they feed you now.

I have been part of the BETA since nearly the beginning and let me say that it has actually advanced quite a bit.

Is the combat as smooth and refined as WOW's? Absolutely not.

Is the game actually fun? I think it is pretty cool. Reality of the situation is that all of the hate is a bit overblown.

My stance on it so far is this, PVP actually seems like it's really cool in this game. I was surprised by this. I haven't really enjoyed any PVP system outside WOW since Age of Conan and this one has soooo much potential.

Overall, I think the problem is that the market is shifting away from $15 p/month type of gaming. I personally don't mind that model, but with the massive runaway success of games like DOTA2 and LoL and the fact that since SWTOR went Free to Play, their incoming revenue went up, ESO seems a little behind with the times.

No one is going to hop on the new money sink unless it's proven itself and unfortunately ESO is what seems to be a pretty good MMO, but maybe not the "proves themselves worthy of the monthly fee" yet.

All I can say is I don't think the game is as the hate bandwagon these days is saying, and it IS worth checking out, but you might be happier with other options. FF14 for example is probably one of the best MMOs out there right now if you are a PVE and exploration and story kind of player. Probably the best sandbox MMO alternative. Really well made, good game. It completely lacks in the PVP world which is why I avoid it. Thus, Why ESO over these other great options? They have SO much they have to prove and from playing the BETA, the cynic in me is saying it's not revolutionary enough.

During the stresstest I played it and I found it boring as hell. Only was running and speaking to stupid NPC for 5 hours. Not going to buy this.

I'm psyched too. I'm curious how crafted items will match up to end-game PvE gear; it seems like they've designed the crafting system to have a lot of depth. I'd wager that endgame content will drop recipes for best-in-slot crafted gear.

At first beta i found it boring, no elder typical introduction, to much haste in the beginning. Other players in my area disturbed the atmosphere.
The second time i traveled through the world, ignoring them and found out, that this game makes much more fun, like i had before. I will give it a chance, not at start on april 4th, but after that, when they fixed the children's diseases. Did you know that there are maybe two new hidden classes? Battle mage and warden?

I hate resource gathering because it copied WoW(alwasy thought WoW resource spawning was idiotic). But, the crafting itself is actually cool and how can it be a joke if it makes the most powerful weapons in the game? Crafted equipment is better than drops I found.

Combat is a joke? Elder Scrolls was never about 5 minute battles, they all were fast and hard hitting for the most part and ESO holds true to that at early levels at least. I enjoy it so far but it could definitely use more love.

How is leveling a joke? I had fun doing it. If you think getting to max level in under 5 days is a good thing like you can in WoW then definitely stay clear of ESO as it will take more time.

I like the loot system, enemies drop objects quite often which you can haul back and melt down, seems more realistic to me, what would you change?

Agreed. People are too used to the carebear shit that is WoW and arent used to working for their stuff. Vanilla WoW was the same way. It took quite a while for people to hit max level, shit actually was a challenge at times rather than just steamrolling through content and watching netflix or TV while pushing 2 buttons.

Ì must say that the only thing i think will ruin ESO is lazy people that do not make the offer to try out a the game. Seen some ridiculous comments, much like the one regarding crafting in this thread, where people dont make the effort to try and understand.

"It does not have Thrall in it, must be bad", questing was useless, npcs did not have a yellow "!" etc.

It will not kill WoW, not even blizzard will be able to kill wow regardless how many pandas or time travels the add to the game(i already raided Onyxia/Kel Thuzad twice! and now they want me to go to outland again?). No its the players that will kill WoW and that will take long time.

ESO is not WoW, but its good in a different way. PvP in WoW and AvA in ESO, Cant compare women icehockey to mens, you just cant. Carrying flags for 2 minutes is just not cutting it anymore.
