Me personally, dont think accounts are worth that much anymore, no mater what gear is on it. This game is to the point right now were it wont take a year and a half to be fully geared out... because a new tier of raid comes in ever 6-7 months. Its just plain pathetic to charge over a thousand dollars for characters that will be obsolete in 5 months. Or that person can be perfectly happy by showing every one around them they have a cool tittle... that was cool 2 years ago..

Well, his account is so valuable because he has quite a bit of things no longer obtainable, for example, the realm firsts, Hand of Ad'al, etc. 1,700 is a lot, but someone serious enough to buy it will come along. Well, enjoy my free bump

Hack, as I mentioned before a large portion of the asking price is the 900k (now closer to 1 million) gold that comes with it, though the realm firsts are nice as well. Regardless the argument for charging for gear that will be obsolete will always be on tossed around so I understand it. Anywho as mentioned before i'm not in much of a rush to sell it. I've mulled over both avenues, there is a large disparity for the value of gold (1200$ to buy 1 million) as opposed to most of the larger sites I could sell to (roughly 400$ to sell my 1 million gold)

I suppose i'd entertain gold buyer offers from private entities here on MMOwned though, just havent been contacted by anyone yet.
