I have some good news for all of you. I got a tip from one of my Skype contacts who used these free codes. He stumbled across a different method to make the helms permanent.

Upon his request, he stated that the method to "permatize" these items should stay secret except to those who wish to purchase the method. This way, it won't get out to the public as fast and get fixed.

On his behalf, the method will be sold for 10€ (that's cheaper than 1 transmog helm!!) to anybody who wishes to learn it. The first 5 people who purchase will have the option to further test the method in which case it will only cost them 5€ due to their cooperation and testing. If you are interested please add me to Skype: WonderousKeys and we will discuss further! You will also be able to use the free codes that I will start posting again!!!

Maybe I have a solution, I can't test it coz I already did the restoration proces this month.
Activate ur code, then log in and get the item and delete it. Then go fast to restoration on the site
and resto the item you deleted. That mail from blizz with the item attached you hold over 24 hour.
Maybe then you still have the item. Would somebody test that? I can't D=
