I would also like to point out that the most likely place on the internet to get scamed is the old Markee Dragon forums.

regardless. I have taken it upon myself to contact the "friend" Andeby speaks of, and have put my 2nd account on the list. I will report back with what happens. As soon as .. "something" happens.

Regardless. Paying $100 for the mentioned asking price is ridiculous and not to mention you get NOTHING from this except playing an Expansion before launch. You still have to have an active Subscription so its a waste of time and money to pay for an invite.

I would laugh if everyone who paid for this eventually gets their access revoked.

Sounds kind of phishy, but who knows... maybe this guy isn't lying and people are indeed being let into the beta. But the whole 'pay to get in' thing is stupid though.

I dont like this umbrella selling method, a friend of a friend who knows a guy that gives stuff, and earn money on it. I seriously doubt that an employee of blizzard would actually be allowed to take payment for CD-Keys, whether or not they were aware of his "scamming" he would still be risking his job.

In my eyes this is a scam, who would want to risk their job at one of the biggest gaming companies there is, to earn a few bucks extra.

The guy I am selling for has a friend in Blizzard who has direct access to add and revoke betas on any account, no questions asked. It's his job.

Ok, so here comes some awesome timing, since you're all convinced I'm scamming.

We're no longer selling for now, we've filled two batches of invites and are stopping at that.

Thanks to all who contacted me and to you who are convinced I'm scamming. If you want to believe we're stopping because you've 'busted us', by all means, do that.

I have made contact with Andeby, and his "friend" and been assured that I would be added to the list. I was told that it will be this week on Tues/Wed.

I will let you guys know how it turns out...

So far the only thing I have recieved is an influx of phishing Emails. Perhaps related.. perhaps not. I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt, and in turn be able to inform the community that they are in fact legit. That being said... we will have to wait till mid week.
