I bought this account for 112$ via western union. 1 week after sending payment the account was locked for "unauthorized access". I spoke with the seller about getting this fixed. Even filled out some forums and emailed them too him to send to blizzard. He told me blizzard wanted to call him and verify his phone number.

As of yesterday 4/21/2010 the email was changed from mine, and is now being played by the seller again (OrangeKingdom). The armory is being updated with loots from yesterday.

The seller told me after all the troubles, blizzard is asking for notarized copys of his ID (after I brought up the fact blizzard would never call you and would simply ask for notarized copys of ID/birth cert).

I know buying used accounts there is always a risk but I feel hurt that a known member of these forums would scam me out of 112$. I will be contacting blizzard and sending them copys of all the forums I filled out/forged his signature on (his request), along with copys of our chats and emails.

I will also be speaking with my bank and putting a dispute on this charge.

Western Union is the worst possible way to buy a WoW account chances of getting your money back are basically impossible, you can try recalling from blizzard and get the account back but chances are he will recall again in the future anyways... But i would just send blizzard all the proof you have of him trading his account (Which will get it banned) So alteast he has lost something aswell, also i recommend u pm an admin with all the proof you have and getting this scammer banned from mmowned.

You're likely to win in the case of small claims with absence of virtually goods you paid for. Internet crime is being taken more seriously each year, do what you can to assure he pays for his insolence.

I spoke with the seller yesterday. He claimed he did have the account back but was not playing it and he has no idea why the armory would show loot updates.

He stopped responding in the middle of the convo and is now not replying to MSN.

I understand people get busy and things come up, and I really want to give him the the benefit of the doubt but at this point idk anymore.

Imo bash his fingers off with a baseball bat and try getting your money back. I hate scammers who do this for a few extra bucks. It's not worth the trouble tbh, so just try and get your money back somehow, if possible. I'm sorry for your loss.

LE: Printscreen this thread and the Western Union stuff, conversations and get the account banned somehow (revenge!) - if you have proof Blizzard will eventually listen.
