Want to make BOT program for web browser game

Hi there
First of all plz dont misunderstand me with lot of kids QQing about making bots with no idea how to program stuff.

Ok, maybe a little...
I dont know MUCH about programming but i want to learn.
If any of u saw the bot program written in java for RuneScape , i bet its named PowerBot.

Was thinking about making my own bot (not for hacking purposes, but for learning...) can be for runescape, can be for any other game (i dont care)
Just want to hear ur opinion, is Java good for writing bots like that (i like DTMs most and would like to use them as well)?
Or should i google for another language for that?

What i want to achieve:
1. Custom Look of Bot
2. Ability to add sort of autoupdates
Actually not much but i know it would take ages in Pascal or Delphi (i guess)
VB would be easy to add these, but code would be pain in ass imo
So question is... Java? Or... ?

Well, it depends. If it's a game made in HTML5 then you could make one in Javascript (easiest)/C#/VB/C++/Java. If it's flash, you're gonna need to go with C#/VB/C++/Java. Runescape/any Java game can be done with C#/VB/C++/Java. All these languages can accomplish what you want. Don't write a bot in Pascal or Delphi haha, that's ancient stuff.

Personally, I'd say C# if you can figure it out because it's more stable and lighter weight. Otherwise go with Java for a Runescape bot. VB isn't the worst way to make it but not the best either.
