I tried using a js and flash mag glass effect with in the the popup window, but it doesnt agree with my js popup for some reason. I also tried using an iframe in the popup box, but the iframe cannot dynamically change dimension according to its content. This was my try:

Magnifying Glass on Your website

It's totally doable with something like this since you're using jQuery library. Run some tests see if you can wrap the lightbox (fancybox, whatever same thing) in it's own outer div to execute the magnify shit.

Made own popup with js from scratch and mimiced the design of the fancybox..
