Hi There Everyone , First of all i would just like to say this project has been a project of mine that has been dear to me for years.
amounts of knowledge within Gaming Engines ranging from Pro's and cons of the Shader System to the Render to the Backport Compatibility , to older graphic chips , networking , etc etc etc
With have been testing over 30+ engines in my life time most notables ones are
HeroEngine not herocloud , BigWorld Source
Some Example work i have done
1. HeroEngine ( I was contracted to help in the Development for the AI/ Networking For Origins of Malu
2. Pirates Nest , Contracted to import RakNet into there Engine / Create a Lobby Matchmaking Systems , Game is still under development - Pirates' Nest :: Index
this is just to show you examples of my previous work .
Now With doing so i have created a list of pro's and con's for almost every engine out there and i could never find that would fit me so i decided one day me and 6 of my friends would start a project to create our own new mmog engine.
With that brief intro to how all of this came about let me tell you some of the great features that this engine supports
1. Extensible Architecture
Xerox Tools Features Modular structure with separate libraries for main engine parts
Xerox Tools Features Interface driven C++ code for functionality and data encapsulation
Xerox Tools Features Built-in memory leak detection mechanism
Xerox Tools Features Runtime type checks
Xerox Tools Features Debug tools (bug reports, memory dump triggered at exceptions)
Xerox Tools Features Extensible scripting language
Xerox Tools Features Artist oriented documentation built in the tools with context help, searching and indexing
Xerox Tools Features SDK with comprehensive programming documentation including tutorials, examples and class hierarchies
2. World Implications
Xerox Tools Features Produce Infinite sized worlds
Xerox Tools Features Large visible field made possible by the visibility algorithms for outdoor environments while the optimized portal based system links to indoor scenes.
Xerox Tools Features Terrain rendering with dynamic level of detail including detailed textures, multi patch support and quad tree visibility
Xerox Tools Features Fast collision detection and response suitable for large environments with thousands of moving entities (various implementations: BSP, spherical, range based, object oriented trees)
Xerox Tools Features Environmental settings changeable from one zone or patch to another to give each a distinct look and feel.
Xerox Tools Features Real Time Editing , No longer wait for your team to upload there data to the svn, simply connect to a service and create Worlds all together any time of the day = Auto Sync's
3. Addons
Now Supports ScaleForm - AutoDesk
Now Supports SpeedTree
Now Supports RakNet
( You have 2 choices you can either use our pre-defined networking code , or you can use RaKnet's whatever suits you better)
Now Supports 3DSMAX Exporter (versions 6, 7, 7.1, 8, 9.0)
4. Some Client Side Engine Features
Visual Effects
Xerox Tools Features Complex scripted particle systems
Xerox Tools Features Customizable spells linked to character animations and events
Xerox Tools Features Screen post processing filters
Complex Character Systems
Xerox Tools Features Animation blending: multiple animations on the same character
Xerox Tools Features Detachable body parts with customizable colors and shading
Xerox Tools Features Attachable items
Here are some sample pictures of what this engine can design for you
Now That is some basics of the engine that i can share with you today.
Im here today looking for a Web Designer - The Web Designer must have knowledge in the field of that he is applying for - What Will Be your job?
To design a professional website , I need 6 pages Done as well as a Forum ReSkin
