Hey!
I can't seem to find any x64 c++ or c# compiler. I'm not very eager to get a 32 bit OS.

Visual Studio 2010 Professional?
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Visual Studio 2010 in fact does support x64 environments so does 2008. You can get the free editions which work just fine from the ms website

Express doesn't, professional does.
You could try dev C++ if that doesn't work for you for some reason.
Your school probably has a Dreamspark account, if you want to get the professional editions free and legitamently.

Editable signature, at last!
If you are only doing some casual coding then you wont need a x64 compiler, just go with Borlands, unless you actually need the x64 programs then get VS2010 Ultimate.
