    [Help] IDE For Java?

Does anyone know what a good IDE would be for Java? I have tried eclipse before but it never worked for me, to be honest I can never get IDEs to work like they do in my school (Because the instructor already set it up prior to the beginning of the year), Can someone help me out?

    Did you also went to:

    Configure > Options
Then JDK profiles and click on new. Then go to ur JDK installation (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\ by default)

Not 100% sure doing this out my head don't have jcreator installed here

from the error warning it looks like your project configuration is failing you,
if you want an easy ide to code small stuff i recommend bluejay, i find testing with it way faster and easier, also less clunky then those big ides for corps,
eclipse is nice for big stuff but small code bluejay > eclipse imo
only real argument against bluejay might be that it doesn't report every warning regarding code notation unlike eclipse (for example classes small written np in bluejay, warning message in eclipse) so if you want to learn to code clean it ain't the right thing but if you just want to hack something fast its damn nice

Best IDE for Java is NetBeans for sure.
You can launch the app with this option ( to enable java on a non standard netbeans installation ) :

"netbeans.exe" --jdkhome "PATH TO JDK HOME"

It will give you the ability to install java plugins by browsing the plugin window of netbean.
