I just added a xbox live plugin to mybb and the user name when someone adds it makes a lot of space for some reason? how do i fix this it looks like this.

It has to stretch it or the gamer card won't show/look proper. Personally, I would just keep it without the card in the post though. Contact the plugin maker and ask how to make the card show in only the profile area.
