Well I dont know if its that but is it because you can't find out how to compile if its that I just make a little guide here:
    1. Click on build in visual basic 2008
    2. Then click build (YOUR PROJECT NAME)
    3. Its should now be builed
    4. Now open documents
    5. Click on the folder Visual Basic 2008
    6. Now click on the folder Projects
    7. Find your Project
    8. Click on it and then click on the folder "bin" then "release"
    9. There are your 1 exe file !

P.S some people think that they need all the files in the "release" folder but you only need the exe file !

What comon said XD Alternatively, you can hit the play button to go debug, close the program, then it's in Projects -> PROJECTNAMEHERE -> bin -> debug.
