Paying for a Good Programmer

Hey programmers.

I would have replied on the previous thread that was made with a similar request but I wanted to make sure it would pass by all the coders.

I'm looking for a good programmer would can create a well-rounded batch account checker program for those building-up phisher entries.

Apoc's was good but I can understand why he wouldn't want to keep updating it.

I don't need anything technical within the program itself, just this:

1) Able to check a single user/pass and report it to be US or EU if working.
2) Able to read a batch file and parse multiple accounts with multiple threads.

I don't really need the checker to report whether its active or not, or to see whats on it or anything specific. The goal of the program is to just sort of working logins from the non-working ones.

Anyway, if you nab Apoc's current PHP code, you can use that with something really simple in c# or vb to read the file to an array and start checking. Or even build the right sort of php front end. Maybe one of these days I'll do something like that, the next time I get an urge to do php properly.

I'm still lookin. As of now I don't even care if its technical with multiple threading and what not.

I just want something I can load a list from, and click start. And then an hour later come back to my computer and each one has been reported as either working or non-working.

If you want people to be interested put full specifications and a price upfront. Programmers generally like to know hard numbers before starting a project.

On a serious note; I released an open source account checker (coded in C#) in the WoW Scams section. It needs literally 2 updates, and 1 bugfix.

Also, I stopped updating the old checkers (including It's A Trap!) due to lack of time. Not to mention people being greedy nitwits who complain non-stop the moment Blizzard changes a single character on their web page. (Or those who don't understand how proxies work.)

It's open source, so if anybody wants to extend it, they're more than welcome. Just retain the license, and/or give credit where credit is due.
