A little tip for VB scammers

Not sure if this works but i saw something on gmail. So if you use VB to scam and have stuff emailed to you, heres a little tip.

Make 2 gmail accounts, 1 that you dont care about and a good one.
Edit your scam program to send mail to your crappy gmail acct you dont care about
now go to gmail on the good account and find the recieve mail from another email button, follow the steps from there, and voila now if someone somehow decompiles your vb program, they have access to your crappy gmail and they cant touch your gamecards/accts/personal emails.

*note* Im not sure if this works, but logically, it will.
And people do hack gmails by decompiling things, i had my best email with tons of accts and GCs hacked cause i didnt obfuscate my program....Hope you find this useful

They won't be discompiling it if you obfuscate the program.

The average idiot probably can't decompile either.

But regardless, how does someone obtain access to your gmail by decompiling? All you're doing is sending an email, your password shouldn't be located in the program?

Everyone stores their email address and password in their program. You need it to authenticate to the SMTP and send it. The easiest, and best way is to make a PHP page and put it in your application.

Or even better than an obfuscator, use a protector, which links the .NET libraries and compiles it to native machine code, making recovery pretty much impossible

eg. Remotesoft Salamander .NET Protector (C#, VB.NET, IL, MSIL, J#, MC++)

PS: This really has nothing to do with VB and should be in the Scams section.

Well... from what I can see, 95% of all these scamming applications all use the same exact code in .NET, and the code they use stores the username/password in the program. "Moronic" describes it well because most people making them don't even know how to program whatsoever.

It's not hard to send an anonymous email though, a small search in google will show them how.

Hell, later on I might even post up the code for them. I don't really support scamming though :P

Updated other thread with code that requires no password.
