    [VB.NET] I give up. Need help! Socket related

    Ok, I've tried. And tried. And tried. For ages. I'm trying to do socket requests to a webpage instead of relying on the webbrowser control, and I just can't manage it. I've probably missed something really simple, but I honestly can't think what to do. If someone can tell me a way that works (all the ways I tried don't work at all, so aren't worth mentioning), please help me out here. Thanks in advance.
