    If/Else if/Else structure

    Javascript version

    Perl version

One of the basics in most languages is the if-elseif-else structure.
If you can't handle this I advise you to stop immedialty with programming/scripting !

The if-else if-else structure is -normally- very easy !

    Example :
Javascript pastebin - collaborative debugging tool

When we dissect this script in normal language it will look like :

When their are less then 5 apples the page will say : 'Their are less then 5 apples' but if the total of apples is equal to 5 then the page will tell us 'Their are exactly 5 apples' and when neither of these 2 is correct their is only 1 possibility and that is that their are more then 5 apples !

I agree, if you don't know how to use these commands, your screwed with coding! This also includes with life:
if You can use this type of command in life, you win!
elseif You don't, learn how to...
    else Your screwed in life!

    Else just means 'otherwise'. :P

IF MMOwned is leet, its true
Elseif MMOwned is not leet, which is NOT true.
Else there is no such thing as leet!
FOR A MOMENT, NOTHING HAPPENED. THEN, AFTER A SECOND OR SO, NOTHING CONTINUED TO HAPPEN.

I learned javascript and if/elseif/else functions from making a game at
BYOND - Make & Play Multiplayer Games Online It was really quite easy to learn, even at a young age. I made my own RPG in the language they use(most javascript and html/css) at the ripe age of 12 years old and it was pretty huge in their community. I still have some of the code somewhere if anyone wants to take a look or needs help understanding certain javascript functions. JS = teh-cake!
