Damn dude, I'll have to give this a try later. If this works that would be amazing!!!
EDIT: Can confirm working with 28484, crashes with 28654. Will give all the rep I can give whenever I can again! Thanks, and keep up the great work.

You can use a tool like CascExplorer to download any version you want.

Sorry for the delay, holiday break have ended and school assignements takes alot of my spare time, ow_unpack v1.2 is finally out, supporting the new encryption method.
It has been tested with 1.0.4.28623, 1.0.4.28654 and latest version (1.0.4.28697) .
To unpack Overwatch version <= 1.0.4.28484 please use v1.0 or v1.1, to unpack Overwatch version > 1.0.4.28484 please use v1.2 or newer

There is a readme file explaining how to use the program.
This tool is destined to reverse engineers, it statically decrypt the overwatch binary so IDA can analyse it.
The main post of this thread explain it tbh ...

Wasn't clear enough for us non-engineer ******s.
I mean I get it that it decrypts the game files but didn't get the purpose behind it. Was thinking it's some sort of decryption to be able to log in and use bots and stuff, but that's a long-shot anyway.

Midi12!! You're doing God's work my friend. Would love to talk with you someday about how you come up with this stuff.

How do I go from that to that? Simple. Removing some encryption layer on a game binary could mean a lot if you don't give a crap about coding.
I was just hoping that the analsys results could be used in some way or another.
