I believe it is done in the following way:

Join a party with your seasonal and initiate a trade.
Disconnect your internet.
It will kick you out.
Reconnect to the internet.
It will take you to the character select screen.
Select your eternal realm character. This may take multiple attempts.
Eventually you'll get in and still be in a party and able to trade.

It works! Downside though - somehow i bugged out my stash. Now my seasonal characters stash is my eternal characters stash....which i guess can be good? lol

I cant seem to get it to work, maybe hotfixed?

It looks like it waits till your character fully logs out till it can fully reconnect to diablo

I don't understand Mandarin, but my browser translated. "Dark and vicious BUG--the account has already been banned, please don't try" as the title of this video/post. It might not be a good idea to do this as it's an exploit that you have to go out of your way to do and not one that you can blame on an accident or happening naturally. That's up to you if you still want to do the exploit of course.

There are also many guides in english that have been getting a lot of popularity in the last 24 hours on how to do this. One of them is by a youtuber that goes by "Zach Bitango" titled DIABLO 4: TRANSFER GOLD AND ITEMS FROM ETERNAL TO SEASONAL (DONT DO THIS)

this exploit is shit coz u cant transfer account bound items from ethernal to seasonal, only transfering gold makes sense but for me its pointless.

Yeah transfering billions of gold thats worthless on eternal to seasonal and selling it on g2g is shit....
anyway its fixed and enjoy your ban if you did abuse it
