    "Patch Required"- Tried Everything...

    Hey guys,

So I was looking at some other threads previously posted similar to the one I'm posting now. It seems that none of the other solutions solve my problem... so here it is.

I just downloaded my AC Web Ultimate Repack. Everything is working perfectly until I try to log on.

This is what my realmlist looks like:

    set realmlist 127.0.0.1

I launch World of Warcraft using WoW.exe instead of Launcher.exe, but STILL it keeps trying to patch up! WTF!

    I'd appreciate any help!

Ist it the patch that comes in after you try to log into your wow? If so then your client is too far behind, try letting it do that patch then starting back up and trying again.

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually yes, I log in as admin... that's when it says "Patch required." I had thought the repack I downloaded was made for patch 3.3.2... maybe it supports a higher patch for whatever reason... no idea...

---------- Post added at 01:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:15 PM ----------

I had copied my WoW folder to have one WoW for retail and one for my private server... it turned out I had changed the realmlist of my retail WoW instead of the realmlist of my private server WoW, thus why it wanted to keep patching. Thanks again for your response... keep up the good work. Stupid mistake on my part.

Open up WoW. Look at the 5-digit build number in the bottom right corner.
    Mine:

Now, look in your server config files.
    Find
    Code:
    <Client MinBuild = "#####"
            MaxBuild = "#####">
    in logon.conf.

Do the two numbers in your config file exactly match the number on your game client?

If yes: Well, you have a problem. I suggest compiling your own server. Repacks are a pain.
If no: Upgrade to the patch with that build number, or downgrade if your build number is higher than your server's.

List of build numbers in accordance to patch numbers(3.2.0 and onwards):
    [SPOILER]
    Code:
    3.3.5a
    12340
    Code:
    3.3.5
    12213
    Code:
    3.3.3a
    11723
    Code:
    3.3.3
    11685
    Code:
    3.3.2
    11403
    Code:
    3.3.0a
    11159
    Code:
    3.3.0
    10958
    Code:
    3.2.2a
    10505
    Code:
    3.2.2
    10482
    Code:
    3.2.0a
    10314
    Code:
    3.2.0
    10192
