TurboHUD broken?

Upon switching from the beta version to the stable version, I now have a message in the bottom left reading. "TurboHUD Can't detect your battletag. Unable to retrieve latest version info for TurboHUD."

I tested this and had the exact same result, see my post in the thread on what I've tested.

Same as most. THud was working last night, then this morning it won't start at all. Did clean install and now see the same message as above: "TurboHUD Can't detect your battletag. Unable to retrieve latest version info for TurboHUD."

I found something, could be nothing, could be the issue. So I decided to sniff the web traffic when starting TH and this is what's happening: "stolen content from pastebin.com. your request has been blocked! visit <b>pastebin.com</b> for the original content."

And after trying this several times it finally returned a version number and now my TH is working. So it's not TH it's something with pastebin. I'd suggest anyone having issues try again it's likely fixed.

It won't give a version number because turbohud wont load at all. As soon as you click on it, the exe crashes with a null exception. It never appears in the game.

I was having the same issue this morning. I was able to get it running after a number of attempts, though I didn't have any notifications from AV/AM software about anything being blocked.

It won't give a version number because turbohud wont load at all. As soon as you click on it, the exe crashes with a null exception. It never appears in the game.

This is what I found in my testing; TH is loading fine and it's crashing after it can't get the version number returned from pastebin. I can reproduce this on demand now that its working by simply disconnecting from the Internet. No internet connection=instant crash with event log entries. Reconnected to Internet and it works fine.

Why Pastebin was returning the "stolen content from pastebin.com. your request has been blocked! visit <b>pastebin.com</b> for the original content." is unknown.

This is a bug and the error really needs to be trapped so it displays something like "No Internet Connection is currently available. TurboHud is terminating." to the user instead of just crashing the app.

The issue is connectivity to Pastebin or something going on at Pastebin. It's not TH. You just need to keep trying.

Some countries blocked the domain name, such as China

Been trying for the last 3 hours. Hasn't done a damn thing yet. Never appears in the game. Just crashes off instantly.

So do i need to just keep trying to open it, or re-extract it over and over, or clean installs to try to get it to work? so far tried all of that and nothing working so want to know what I need to keep redoing and hoping for the best?

Looks like it won't work until KillerJohn fixes it or does something to it.
