Submitting old plugins but not the owner

I have a couple plugins that are working in 2.5 that haven't been uploaded yet but have been requested (e.g. zei's circles). I'm not the owner but am willing to submit them for review but ideally they need to be updated to use the latest namespace naming convention. Should I just post under my initials? Should we create a default "Anon" or "Unk" namespace for items like this? Either way, I suggest folks add a comment header for plugins that includes the author's name so we can acknowledge authorship for future scenarios like this one.

Wait atleast a week. For all we know the dev might be on vacation. It's rude to take away someone's authorship. Also, you should understand that once you upload a plugin the communtiy expects you to update it for each breaking HUD update. .

I'd suggest you just post the plugins in a "random plugins thread" here in discussions, credit the author and then when the author has time he/she can post it to the review forum and keep it updated. That way you dont have to update or support it.

The problem with this plan... If he uploads them at all he is subject to support because people will be asking for help with them. The best response is to list which plugins are "missing" and allow the appropriate devs will fill the gaps.

I have RuneB 's EliteDirection plugin -which is one of my fav- and it still works flawlessly. If he doesn't show up, i might share it so everyone can enjoy it
