How to increase chance of selling item in AH without lowering item cost

It may be common sence but i bet not everyone thought about it so when you are trying to sell something which is not selling but you dont want to reduce the item cost for buyout simply remove auction and put it again into AH tab.
This works because many players only check Auctions which have 1d + for regular items and 1d 10h+ for sniping as they expect if item have less time it shoud not be good so you might try to replace the item in AH sometimes insted of waiting 1d 12h till it becomes unsold as most items with less than 12h are not going to sell anyway.

The problem is that even doing that most people dont have enough money and the rest already got what they needed a lot of time ago. There is only a few people are still playing d3 now.
I can spend about 3 hours in ah to sell nothing.

lol the funniest thing i've ever heard lately AH is full of items, tons of them, even crap items for 100 gold.

maybe you are trying to sell too high
try lowering the price
or follow Drogant's advice (although that the practice shows items are sold not only in the first 1-2 hours)

sure they are not but its often when someone is aiming on exact stats if he just puts he wants some dex some vit and some all res and put buyout cap on 1m he will start searching from newest most likely
