Leoric's Signet farming guide

First of all, thx for good guide
I started farm signet 2 days ago with wizard 60. I have 326 mf with 5 NV and 23% movespeed.
For wizards: I use storm armor with scramble and teleport with wormhole.
I start run from black canyon mines, kill 4-5 elites for NV. (IT's faster for me than VoA). Then I tp to sewers and farm it all. Then patch to the Oasis and farm Ruined Cistern. Then farm all Oasis(Forgotten Ruins Tomb of Khan Dakab Tomb of Sardar Ancient Cave) and last farm anient Waterway (west and east tombs)
I did 30+ runs and dont droped any legendary =(
I want to know, how works this drop. Does it make sense to check corpses and chests?

Thank you to the thread starter for this guide.

Mine dropped yesterday off of a champion pack in Alcarnus. It was the fourth legendary to drop, and first ring to drop, 20% Exp. bonus. I was wearing 378% MF (5 stacks NV), and had been farming for about 4 days (on and off).

After reading this guide, it sounds like it can drop almost anywhere in the act (just my personal conclusion, take that for what it's worth).

i started to farme for the ring 3 days ago and the 3 first run i found 2 legendary and than afther about 10 run (voa for the NV than sewers and the Oasis) no legendary...
i reade people who find a lot of legendary...
i have 317% MF without NV fo 392% with NV and 23% speed.
im a wiz
nemezya seam to have the same prob.
it is possible that they nerf something.

another question
people who clear sewer, it is only sewer of caldeum or its sewer of caldeum and Ruined Cistern and hidden aqueduct?

help for wiz i use ice armor with frozen storm rune wich kill every monster in a 15 yards. its nice

been farming this for 4 days now, at least 4 hours a day with 387% mf with 5nv. running vault for 5nv then moving to cistern, sewers, all of dalghur oasis and the aqueduct. 13 legendaries later i finally found a legendary ring ... in vota.. had to be a stupid manald. so depressed right now. beware of vota, doubt it can drop there, at least its fast nvs.

This is one of the better threads about the ring since I haven't found any better in battlenet forums.
In summary, if you can farm Act3 and Act4 Inferno and get Legendary items regularly, don't farm this ring. You could use those items for selling and buy yourself the ring.
It's extremely and stupidly hard despite being able to move very fast and kill elites like flies.

The number on the far right is the number of hours my character has logged.

First learning, these low level legendary items sell fast in the AH though at a low price(at least in the US server) but the Genzaniku, one hand weapon, sells for at least 300k.

Second learning, as other's stated, you could get the ring practically almost anywhere in Act2 (just don't go beyond Vault of the Assassins) since the drops I find don't seem to have a particular area.

Third learning, I think I found how the loot works, vaguely. If you looked at the Aquila Cuirass and Bone Shatter above, there are instances they dropped consecutively, in separate games but in a day or session of gaming. This also happened to me before pre-patch 1.04 where I got two Firewalkers in separate games but in a single gaming session. I believe this should be very unlikely to happen since getting a legendary is very low, getting the same legendary is even lower, and getting them in a single day/session is close to impossible. Why is this happening?
There are also occasions of the same type of items dropping consecutively. Like, if there's a ring that dropped from an elite, there's a bigger chance it will drop again on another elite. Sometimes, even the prefix or suffix is the same on the rings that dropped consecutively, such as Adventuring, Mending, or of the Bear and that goes the same for other type of items.

Simply, I believe that the loot is partial in every game. It's like there's a long list of possible loot you could get when you load a game but not everything is in there. Why would Blizz do that? I think it is done for gaming performance and probably (hunch) Blizz to slightly control the drops. Have you seen a Unity legendary ring in the AH? Never, while there are pages of list for the other legendary rings.
Not all possible loot is loaded so if you're farming for Leoric's Signet but if it's not loaded, then there's no way it can drop at all despite all the Magic Find you have or numerous repeat of the farming process.
I think you will have better efficiency with the Leoric's Signet if you log in separate days farming the item like the original poster of this thread. In my case, I farmed for hours non-stop and consecutive days. It's like I'm wasting my day(s) farming the item which will never drop at all.

For me, there's no turning back and will continue to farm this ring but I highly discourage it if it's likely you can buy this in 50 hours of farming. How much is this in gold in the EU server?

The biggest pro of this type of farm compare to A3 Inferno, is the intensity. ~50%MS permanently and playing with one hand with gear wich worth ~2M
It's way painless when you drop nothing. The lack of experience is the biggest con.

Manald is a high level ring, I could get that if I farm the Vault of Assassins or the Desolate sands.
Thanks, I thought the ring is cheaper in the EU server.

Man, I was beaten by Valmere above, using bots. This is one the reasons why farming this ring isn't a good idea.

just wanted to go to bed, run once in sewers, bam found +28%.
it dropped by the swarm monster (normal not pack)
