Exp bug?

I wanted to share some info about an exp bug I experienced. I have tried to replicate it and was not successful. I was being power leveled on my crusader. Was a lvl 70 barbarian plvl. I was level 41. Also a 35 crusader with us. We were doing t6 bounties on my level 40 game. I went to town right at the finish of a bounty in act 2. I was in act 4 town however. I am not sure if I zoned to town while in battle or not. I went to go salvage gear. When I clicked the salvage button I started to get massacre bonuses and exp from the mobs being killed by the 70 barb. It was a massive amount of exp. I leveled to 66 with only the next to beat ruby in my helm. Once I hit 66 I was given the cow bardic he and equipped it. After that the exp stopped and I was no longer able to get in town exp like before. By the time I was 66 the other crusader was 44. Both in town. Only difference was I was in the salvage screen with the salvage button active. I did try putting back on the exact gear I had when it was working to no avail.
