Legendary Farming Exploit

Hi guys,

Have a quick question with an idea I had today. Im sure this is nothing new and is probably already being taken advantage of but I would like some confirmation. My roommate and little brother both have diablo 3 accounts which neither use. My brother has RoS while my roommate would need to upgrade. I have a HC seasons crusader who is capable of doing GR 30 as of now. Im sure many of you have also noticed when your party is out killing things in a rift or such items still drop for you while you are in town. Could I essentially have all 3 accounts join the same game all as the crusader class then, have my main run GR15-20 while the other two characters stay in town and basically get 3x as many legendary drops since the Rift Guardian almost always drops at least one legendary?

I wanted to make sure this would work before I paid to upgrade my buddies account. Any thoughts? Thanks guys! Happy hunting!

They would have to join the GRift but it should work and I don't think this is really an exploit since multiboxers do this

Not sure if I would want to do GR30 solo while in a group of three. You know, because of the more HP/dmg bonus the mobs get due to two additional players that just stand around.

If they removed the game exp multiplier why wouldn't they have removed the legendary multiplier.
