In theory it would take 285 days of game time before you hit Paragon Level 1000

Well, as you know Alkaizer was first one to hit paragon level 100, now when he returned to Diablo, he said he was going to be the first one to hit paragon level 1000.

So let's calculate. He is now at 638 paragons, so how much exp is that so far?

Well, using a Paragon level calculator, I found out that this is exactly: 855,996,840,000 EXP, so basically 856 Billion exp.

I have seen people getting max 1.5 Billion exp per hour doing rifts, most people can't reach this far, but some of us are actually getting 1.5 Billion exp per hour.

So 856/1,5= 570 hours. 570/24 = Around 24 days of game time to get up to his level.

Now I said to myself, how much exp do you need from 999-1000, and did some research and found out that it is exactly: 47,752,320,000 EXP, yes you read right.

That basically takes 32 hours of play time to reach 1000 from 999. Now that Alkaizer has hit 638, how much exp does he require to hit 1000?

That is exactly: 9,455,330,640,000, yes I also got a mini heart attack. Now getting 1.5 Billion exp per hour this would, in theory, take: 9455/1,5 = 6300 hours. So he has already played 570 hours, and he has 6300 more hours to go. He is basically just 1/11th of the way to paragon level 1000.

Now, I had to make sure the calculator was right and all this was right, so I talked to a few friends and asked them which level they were at and and asked them how much exp they needed to next level, and the calculator was in fact right.

So getting from Paragon 0 to 1000 takes 570+6300 hours (This if you get 1.5 Billion exp per hour) = 6870 hours. Now lets find out how long this is

    6870/24 = 286,25 days of game time.

So the point of this thread is, are we actually getting enough exp reward?

I mean, they should reduce the exp needed, I do not think anyone would actually get to 1000 Paragon, unless they find a way of getting 3++ billion exp per hour. I wouldn't even try to get to 1000, even if I were getting 15 Billion exp per hour, that is around 30 days of game time.

I am sure not all of this is accurate at all, but I did my best to make it as accurate as possible. Have I done some mistakes? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also discuss, when will you give up leveling?

1.5b is quite low counted. With pools (which rarely ever ends before you find new ones at high level), we pull in around 4.5b exp/h. And even that could probably be increased by ~33% with perfect gear and optimization. Add on some bonus weekends. And that 285 days becomes somewhere around 75 days. Which is pretty reasonable.

I would love some proof of this concept, which run you take and what you do. I am pretty sure its hard to pull off 4.5b exp/h. You have some videos or something. I can't pull off more than 800M exp per hour and that is just me.
