Puzzle ring farm?

Had a question... Well maybe it's more of a theory. If you get the legacy puzzle ring (chance to spawn treasure gob when ur hit) and join a level 1's game (so the mobs are scaled as level 1) and go to the cow level or something and just ago every single mob and let them hit you, would you be able to farm gobs like this? Or is there an icd. Hmu with ur thoughts
