Yoyoyo, I'm not a big time seller or anything, but isn't there like different types of paypal accounts? I'm not sure what the cost is of having a business paypal account, but thats maybe what you need.
no that has nothing to do with it, and i had a business account, with a bank attached. All of my information checked out.
Apparently legit business sellers with a long standing history on ebay making 100k a year eventually get their accounts locked for no reason too. There are some crazy horror stories out there, of people with 100k frozen in their paypal account for 180 days with zero explanation.
Putting the pieces together, what I'm starting to understand is that PP doesn't give a shit about individual customers, they make their money from contracts with other corporations and making interest off customer's money by placing them on 180 day holds. It is a very corrupt entity
Like I said, please don't comment if you have no direct experience with this.
Thank you for your cooperation

I have been doing a lot of volume in PP over the rmah. No issues at all. I had to call them to enable mass pay for easier/cheaper paying for gold supply and they were pretty great about it over the phone. I have 2 accounts both linked to me with my real info and stuff. I'm pretty surprised actually that you had all the real info in and they won't give you a straight answer.
What do they say when you ask them directly why you are suspended?
The only thing I do differently is that I don't withdraw every day, I wait a week or 2 then take it out in a lump.
they tell me they won't give me the information unless i get a court order. Yea I was withdrawing frequently because I was afraid of something like this. Damned if you do damned if you don't.
I have heard of people's accounts triggering an initial review if they have over $1k in the account or they withdraw too much at once also.
they are only nice when they want to be. When you get the 180 day lock you will see them turn into real a55holes

Form what I understand your money may over their limit ( it's public but somewhat there is where a limit one account can have before law involve). The reason for that is you don't have to pay any dime tax for money you earn form RMAH ( 15% is Blizzard, paypal fee , it isn't tax). Normally if your annual income less then 5k per year you don't have to worry other then that you do have to report. I do have to provide my SSN for paypal since I request paypal debit card and upgrgade to business account .
Sales tax is charged when people buy from you, if it's applicable. Income tax is reported by paypal to the IRS if you have over 200 incoming payments AND and over 20000 in total $ coming in.
Neither of these 2 things should be related to the lock though. Really weird.
PPL who bought your gold made to many chargeback, so you are not a desirable seller.
Learn to read. [I sold gold only on the RMAH.
there wasn't a single chargeback, or even the possibility of a chargeback
If you normally receiving $200 daily from Blizzard, but one day u have $1000 to $1500, then you will get flagged. A lot of e-commerce sellers were flagged then suspended due to abnormal activities in their account. If you consistently selling same amount everyday, it`s unlikely your account will be suspended. And it is always a good idea to provide TAX ID/Bank account prior to initial limitation.
With regard to chargeback claim, I think no one here can make a broad statement saying you won't get chargeback from Blizzard. You have to review the agreement before Paypal and Blizzard before you can make such statement.

deleteed..............
are you from china / india / russia?
those accounts on paypal get banned a lot.
Also if you make 3k/month on a personal account seriously why do you wonder?
What you can do is register a business, and provide the documents of your business registration including Tax Identification Number to PayPal and ask them to upgrade your account to a business or premier one (i would chose the premier one)
Source: https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?c...rawing%20Money.6.2 Withdrawal Limits. Depending on the degree to which you have Verified your Account, we may limit the amount you may withdraw to $500.00 USD per month. You can view your withdrawal limit, if any, by logging into your Account and clicking on the View Limits link on the Account Overview page. In addition, we may delay withdrawals of large sums of money while we perform a risk review.
$500/month withdraw limit.

And ?
Let me clarify.
You sell gold,
The guy chargeback
You can't know if he chargeback or no.
Only paypal knows
Blizzards send you the money.
You can make 500 diffenrents sell on the RMAH and get $ for those 500 transaction. Maybe 10 % of them will be fraud. You will never know that and allways get your money. But in that case, you wont be a desirable selller for Blizzard and Paypal.
Not your fault, you just had no luck.
^^
That really doesn't make sense. Chargebacks or paypal issues with the buyer are handled between battle.net and paypal somehow. They don't effect the seller in any way once the transaction is finished and the $ is in your account.
What you are saying is that you could hijack a couple paypal accounts, buy a ton of stuff on the RMAH and then get the sellers accounts locked. That's not how it works, it wouldn't effect them at all.
