I got hacked, what should I do?

I tried to log in today and kept getting an error message. I assumed that my internet was down or that I carelessly entered my password wrong. Unfortunately, it was because someone changed my password. I went on battle.net and noticed that my password, email, and security questions were changed as well. The only thing I have is my first email address. My question is, how do I proceed from here? I know that I obviously lost all my items and gold. This is probably the most depressing thing that's happened to me all year. I had so much invested in my account, I feel like I've instantly lost part of my life. You can see from my rep that I've bought a lot of gold so it's not just a virtual loss, it is an actual loss in terms of my real finances.

I have done some research myself and found that Blizzard sometimes rolls back your account. I am just asking for advice on what to write. This whole experience has been very bad for me and I'd like to have as few problems as possible getting my items and gold back.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone with past experience could post their thoughts.

    Thanks in advance.

If it`s true, then you can just call them. Make sure you have copy of your government issued ID prepared so you can send to them when they request. I don't see why they wont roll back your account. However, I've heard recent cases that Blizzard refused to roll back account. Did you have authenticator or SMS protection?

Did you log on to battlenet and remove your authenticator when you first encountered error messages? Or you were unable to log on to battle.net at all.

I was unable to log on to battle.net at all. My gaming computer is being repaired right now because I can't risk doing anything while a potential trojan horse, virus, or keylogger is on it.

You can also submit a ticket to Blizzard using their ticket system on the official website.
