    Maphack Question/Observation

    Hey,

I was just farming and my connection got super laggy, like my barb was stuck in perma-ww and I could just walk around. It was about to snap back and I knew I was dead. Anyway I ran forward several screens and rooms before finally the network was back in sync and I was of course dead near some elites where the lag had begun. Anyway after resurrection I notice that all the places I ran while lagging were now revealed.

Doesn't this suggest it would be possible to reveal this information safely?

I would imagine so... the hard part is artificially reproducing that behavior with a 3rd party program.

if you have a standby button try using it for 1 second, 2 second, and so on until you find the maximum "lag" period. If that doesn't work get a lag creator, or download a million torrents to test your theory out.

In the future do some of this stuff before posting something to get repuation
