Blizzard profits on people selling at RMAH. Lets say you sell 1b as Jaerin - 15% goes to Blizzard - maybe even more since some percents of the 15% paypal fee gotta go Blizzard aswell. I'd say the risk of getting banned is higher selling gold to the black market..

Each auction can only be a max of $250 so it depends on what price you are selling for. It's usually about 125-135m per auction usually. That doesn't have to sell all in one sale though. When you auction is the oldest of the cheapest gold on the AH it will sell whenever someone buys. So in your email you'll get like 30 emails with the chunks that people buy, but ultimately whatever you sell is what you get in your "You sold an auction" email
Good news, I just have my account unlocked. I am able to sell again in rmah.
so you were suspended, not banned. When you were suspended for auction-related issues, it will show on your account that your RMAH is banned, but your D3 is suspended. There are many reasons can trigger the suspension. For example, paypal address doesnt match with your address, or the credit card linked to your paypal has problems.... etc When you are suspended for auction realted issues, the easiest way to get it back is to call blizzard. It usually takes 15-20mins waiting, then they will fix your problem in 5-10 minutes. However, if you use fake information on your account, you might have some problems to get it back. I will advise everyone using legit information on their RMAH accounts.
This is why you shouldn't use fake information. There is no need to, you are not doing anything illegal.
And yes this sounded like an RMAH suspension not a game ban.
I never said I was banned. my said I was suspend for 25 years.
Looks like the reason I got suspend is I didn't set my address in my profile.
They asked me to edit my address profile and then unlocked it.
And I got some of my gold back cuz the suspension they canceled the transaction.
An FYI for some of you guys,
If ever they screw up paying you, and your selling gold off your botted account, i would advise to NOT call them to fix the issue because your account gets flagged, then most likely banned.
Happened to me in this case, i was selling 80m in the RMAH, which sold but i was taxed TWICE, yes 30% bliz and another 15% from paypal, so being the smart person that i am, rather than letting this go since im making $$ anyways, i called them up to tell them, "whats up with that?", they stated they will look at my account and fix the problem if there was one and a few days later i was banned lol. Turns out while they were digging up the issue with my RMAH, they found some other pretty interesting things, im assuming its my total gold earned which were in the hundred millions.
And to be honest, i wouldve let this slide but i was about to throw up another 300m to sell on the RMAH with the same char but after seeing the 45% hit, i decided to xfer that $$ to my mule and called them up so i can have it fixed for future transactions, guess greed isnt good in this case hehe.
dont sell gold with your botted account~
Jaerin I got a question on you.
Im doing the same as you do but with 30-50 mil per day. So there is like 0.00001% to be banned for doing this? Can I start selling 100-200 mil or even more? I got level 60 manually leveled over 450 hour of gameplay by myself, no bots, no suspended.. just nothing but doing this. Is it save?
I would be so greatful for you answer.
Read the thread...why would anyone get banned for selling gold on the RMAH?
The real question is, do people get banned frequently and at what rate for buying large amounts of gold from farmers/bots, and reselling on black market or RMAH?
I was reading whole Thread and I was reading a lot of topics on other websites.
Actually it is against blizzard's law in ToS that you cant use Diablo 3, RMAH or anything connected with blizzard as Investment and this is investment with profit on your side. Also buying gold not from RMAH is against blizzard's law. Actually never saw someone banned for this either for selling gold to china and I also sold over 300 mil of hand farmed gold to China ppl.
Blizzard got money from this so why would they ban people true dat, but still they would get 40 euro for new copy of game same as botters buys new account.
That was actually the question Smurgfrom my research I have never saw anyone getting ban for this, its not so popularized as botting because you must have very friendly china guy that sells gold really underpriced.
If Jaerin can tell us how much gold he is selling everyday and how long is he doing this we can make final decision.
I don't sell gold constantly and I've never been banned for selling gold. I've sold nearly a billion in a day but I'm telling you that you guys are overreacting. Sell your gold.
