I wonder whether the "chance of enemies to drop gold when you hit them" could lead to having competitive or top GPH simply keeping a bunch mobs alive forever by hitting them with no weapon or a bad weapon and otherwise intentionally low damage.

You'd think they'd avoid that, but with Blizzard you never know.

even if they are that stupid it takes a quick patch to make monsters NOT drop more than once or whatever. Also, Im sure actually killing a monster will give you more than that "unknown" (little) chance to drop probably small amount occasionally. BUt Im gonna cross my fingers tho

Blizzard are such idiots. Not only are they going to provide you with much better, more powerful Legendary items, but also reduce the difficulty of Inferno elites.

It sounds like this game is going to go from hard to walk in the park with one foul swoop.

was wondering about how the gold prices are dropping when it's harder now to farm gold.... without a "real" bot.... Sarkoth is deadzone :-/ even with 2h cooldown between full runs you hit the damn limit within 30min :-/
