Do not attempt to rollback to dupe/hardcore death reversal

Just want to warn you guys that Blizzard has mostly caught on to this. I stupidly tried to do this to reverse my Hardcore Death in Inferno Act III. Lost my SC main worth $1000++ instead.

I used a proxy, deleted my chars, etc.

Don't do it, it's not worth it anymore.

Oh btw I forgot to state, I got permanently banned, with 4 appeals all rejected. Just for trying to fake a rollback to recover my HC char.

What I don't get about this tactic, (even when it was working), is why delete all your characters? Whether you lose your characters or not is based on the individual doing the hacking. Lets pretend he doesn't delete characters but rather takes the gold. Viola, you have no faked a hacking but in the case it doesn't work you at least have your characters still. Yeah deleting your chars makes it more believable but hell, I'd venture to say they might of done it either way when it was actually working.

Precisely, what you've said is what most people attempting a fake account hijack would think 'to be safe'. Blizzard would thus find it more a little more believable when all the characters are deleted - looks more real.

I wonder how they know you didnt get hacked? They looking at client ID and hardware ID? You obviously got behind a separate IP so they got other ways to tell. Did you have an authenticator? That would also be another give away you didn't actually get hacked possibly.

i did this 2 times (only for death revival) and everything went fine, maybe the thing is i didnt tryed to give my gold away after i died and just alt+f4 right after death and next login alredy with hotspot deleting every characters.

the weird part about deleting is that anyone who's ever been hacked knows china doesn't delete. they strip you and leave your bare balls in the breeze for you to see when you finally get control and log back in. there's no profit in those extra key strokes it takes to delete your char.

i said that already few times, but i will repeat:

if you make fake hack from same computer you are playing even using proxy/vpn/diff ip - you are screwed. Your HWID have to be different. And one more - hacker dont simply login to game first guessing thats the game you play. HE LOGS IN TO YOUR BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT TO SEE WHAT GAMES YOU ACTUALLY OWN. Then you can login to each game and do some "hacking" stuff. Change password on battle.net, change e-mail etc. to actually steal your account. It's looking like really hacked account.

But loging with different ip only and deleting characters? I loled. I did that 3 times already (one for every account) always worked. Just do it proper.
