unregistered game key question

so you can buy / trade for a game key, but when you add it to your account it asks for the "zip code" for verification .....

does this mean they know where the key was bought and the zip code on the billing information of where it was bought?

if i buy a key under 11111 zip code and you try to register it to your account with 55555 zip code what would happen?


please let me know so i dont get scammed

i bought cd key 2 days ago and i just click on bnet add game and i just used my cd key and this working fine

You're fine with setting it to your own zip code. I've used my zip code for all 12 keys I've bought and no problems..
